The introduction - orientation to the "Land" takes approximately 20 minutes. The Tour also includes a very brief explanation of how to "sign in".

The "sign in" process is for your safety and is required every time you walk the land. "Sanctuary" abutts 300 open acres of town land thus increasing the risk of getting lost if you are not oriented. It is very important to know how to find your way home!

There is no cost to you when you walk this Land. We offer you the opportunity to walk this sacred Land, as a gift.

We do ask that you treat the land with respect & love. Please leave it as nice, or better than, you found it.

Take all trash with you.

No smoking is allowed on the Land due to fire hazard.

No alcoholic beverages allowed.

No snow mobiles or other mechanical forms of transportation are allowed due to walkers safety.

No hunting is allowed on the Land.

Be aware that you walk at your own risk

Folks often ask if they can "contribute" to the Land and its care. We do have a "Sanctuary Fund", although not tax deductible, we do use monies donated to help defer the cost of tending to this land and making it available for folks. Money from this fund is also used for scholarships to programs we offer: In particular those programs related to The (W)hole Point Wisdom Model of Empowerment and Transformation.
